In 1986 the Austrian designer founded a clothing line carrying his own name. He was promptly recognised for his minimalist style and despite the use of raw and deconstructed cuts the clothes belongs to the classic end of the fashion scale.
Today, the design couple Michael and Nicole Colovos are the creative directors. The label Helmut Lang is still seen as a classic and timeless design for the man who cannot identify himself with the preppy look. The collections often consist of slim chinos, simple t-shirts, casual coats and shirts – all in classic signature colours. These styles always have intelligent cuts and fittings and are fundamental must-haves when achieving a modern and cool look.
