The Steven Alan Men’s collection debuted
in 1999 with shirting and trousers, many of which ultimately became
signature items. One such piece, the Reverse Seam Button Down, has been
hailed as ”the perfect shirt”. Steven’s tousled version of
this classic style has evolved into an instant wardrobe staple. Limited
edition fine cotton fabrics were handpicked by Steven, and then
underwent a careful washing process to give it a “favorite old shirt”
look and feel.
The Steven Alan Men’s Collection grew to include other anchor pieces
such as jackets and sweaters, and now also includes suiting, shoes and
accessories. You find the Steven Alan Collections in stores such as
Barneys and Fred Segal besides his own stores in New York and
California.
